What do we do?
We ride April through October, weather permitting. Our schedule features activities every week end and throughout the week during daylight savings time. Rides range from 10 to 80 miles and vary in terrain and speed.
We commute, tour, and race and therefore are affiliated with national organizations that promote those activities, specifically LAB (League of American Bicyclists) NORBA and USCF (United states Cycling Federation). We also have family outings and picnics, and overnight tours with camping, bed and breakfast and motel accommodations that go through some of the finest cycling country you'll ever see. We promote safety for all road users, work for better access to roadways and trails, and encourage bicycling for health, ecology and pleasure.
The Murfreesboro Bike Club for the most part is for local riders and bicycling enthusiasts in the Middle Tennessee area, but we hope to provide information that is useful to all. Such as...
•Post our monthly calendar of events.
•Sponsor the Heart of Tennessee Century every year in August.
